-Logline-

2 friends, a sleepover and one strange message from unknown, an adventure in the woods and something changes for the worse.

 

-Characters-

·         Chrissy (female)- A popular girl with lots of social media followers. Acts sassy. Wears fashionable clothes. Teenager/young adult aged (16-19). Spends most of her time scrolling through her socials or listening to music. She starts of as a normal girl who is positive and smiley, then she develops to a girl who is feeling down and alone.

·         Kyle (male)- A gamer, who spends most of his time in his bedroom playing games in the dark. Wears normal clothes. Teenager/young adult aged (16-19). Starts of as a happy boy who is also positive, then develops to be a boy who ends up getting taken.

·         Unknown (male)- A strange man who wears black clothing. And he is also a stalker. Middle aged man (45-47). Starts of with nowhere to be seen in real life, then develops to be seen at a location by two teenagers and ups kidnapping one of the characters.

 

-Overview-

The opening scene will be Kyle at Chrissy’s door. Then camera transitions to Chrissy’s bedroom. Chrissy is listening to a song while Kyle scrolls on Twitter for game news. They both fall asleep and Kyle gets a message. The next morning Kyle checks his phone while Chrissy is in the bedroom. They both go into the woods to explore later that day. And the man appears. Kyle and Chrissy run and Kyle falls. Then Kyle suddenly gets taken by the man. Kyle and the man are out of the camera. Few days later Chrissy is in a town and she gets a message from her mum. Chrissy’s life drastically changes for the worse. At the end the camera turns black and a phone ring.

 


I've completed this task because I needed to plan out on what my film will be like. What I've done to create it is I've went onto word because then it's easier to understand and follow it. I think it will have an impact on my film if I do what it says.

PITCH

  Pitch   Pitch My 5 minutes short film will be called “the man in the black clothing”.  The logline will be, “2 friends, a sleepover and one strange message from unknown.” The plotline of the film is , Kyle go around to his best friend, Chrissy’s, house for a sleepover. Suddenly, when they both fell asleep Kyle gets a random message that’ll say, “I know what you did” by an ‘unknown’. The next morning, Kyle checks his phone and he becomes scared at the message he received, he looks at Chrissy and the two friends start to wonder who ‘unknown’ will be. Then, the next day they investigate in the woods. They both suddenly encounter someone who wears black clothing and it starts to follow them everywhere they go. And everything from there begins to get creepier and weirder.
